Is Medical Marijuana Legal for personal use in California?

Medical marijuana is legal under state and local law. Voters in California legalized the use, cultivation, and possession of cannabis for those with a doctor’s recommendation or approval when they adopted Proposition 215 in 1996, also known as The Compassion Use Act. Within California, the Act allows for the recommendation by a physician for the medical use of marijuana by a patient, and the cultivation, transportation and use of marijuana for medical purposes by patients and caregivers.

The Compassionate Use Act exempts patients, caregivers and physicians who recommend the use of marijuana for medical purposes from criminal laws, punishment, or the denial of any rights or privileges. Senate Bill (SB) 420 (Chapter 875, Statutes of 2003) was written into law in December of 2003 (see California Health and Safety Code, Article 2.5, Sections 11362.7 through 11362.83) and is part of California law to this date.

Do I need a doctor's recommendation to order online?

What do I need to join CareGreens?

Do you have a pick up location?

No, we are a delivery-only online service. We offer discreet delivery to your door.

What areas do you deliver to?

We offer next business-day delivery throughout the Los Angeles area and same-day delivery within the San Fernando Valley, California.

How can I pay?

We accept cash on delivery at this time.

Is there a minimum order amount?

Yes, There a minimum order of $40 during check out.

Do you delivery to public locations?

NO, we can only deliver to your physical residential address that matches the Driver License you signed up with. If your address doesn’t match your Driver License, you will need to provide us with proof by providing utility bills that matches the new address.You will also need to update your account by going to (My Account) in the navigation bar. Email support if you have any questions.

What are your delivery hours?

Our delivery operating hours are 10am til 10pm daily. Online ordering is open 24 hours a day.

Should I tip the Driver?

Tips are not required, but are encouraged as drivers travel many miles and hours to ensure our members get the medicine they need.

What is your no show/cancellation policy?

If you are not at your residence upon our arrival or cancel your delivery within 1 hour of your delivery, you will be charged a $10 no show/cancellation fee that will be added to your account. This is to prevent missed appointments and ensure all of our members get their deliveries at the time they commit to.

What if I received a faulty product, can I exchange it?
